Our factory is a certified manufacturer under the Timber Legality Assurance System (TLAS), ensuring the legality of our products from the point of harvesting, through transportation, trade, and manufacturing, via SVLK verification.

Teak is a remarkable hardwood, known for its strength and durability, able to withstand extreme temperatures. This makes it an excellent choice for outdoor furniture, but it also means it can provide years of reliable service indoors. Its resilience protects against common afflictions that can damage other woods, such as rot.

It is important to note that, like genuine leather and other luxury materials, there are varying qualities of teak wood. AlaTeak Furniture uses only premium grade 100% Tectona grandis, or "true" teak. We carefully select only the finest cuts for the production of our patio furniture, as much of the lumber used in the cottage industry is of secondary quality, which may include less desirable sapwood.

The teak we use is select kiln-dried, with characteristics that ensure exceptional quality, including a straight grain structure, absence of knots, splits, or cracks, and an even tone in color.

Our specially produced stool comes pre-oiled from the factory, ready for immediate use indoors or outdoors. Our production process utilizes high-quality materials and advanced technology, ensuring the stool will last for many years.
